About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and UK tax regulations
- Manage external audit relationships and coordinate year-end processes
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the CFO and board
- Implement and improve financial controls and reporting systems
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Proficiency in Xero or SAP, and advanced Excel modelling
- Experience managing a small finance team
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical capabilities
